Esponi is a free app that shows your comune's waste-collection calendar. It is designed to collect the bare minimum of data.

No account

Using Esponi requires no sign-up and no name, email or phone number. The comune and zone you pick are stored only on your device.

Notifications

Evening reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. We send no push notifications from a server and have no way of knowing when or whether you receive them.

Anonymous reports and support requests

When you report an error in a calendar, we send only the problem type and any comment you write, linked to the reported calendar. Reports are anonymous: they carry no identity of yours.

The same holds for messages sent through the support form in the app or on the site: we record the kind of request, the text you write, and whether it came from the app or the website. We do not ask for or keep your name, email address, IP address or any device identifier, and the form sets no cookies. That is precisely why we cannot reply — please do not write personal details, yours or anyone else's, in the message.

Anonymous error diagnostics

To fix defects in the app, we collect anonymous crash and error diagnostics through Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.). The data is held on servers in the European Union, is not linked to your identity, and is used solely to find and fix malfunctions.

No ad tracking

Esponi contains no ads, no advertising or analytics tracking SDKs, and no profiling. The esponi.app site sets no cookies and loads no third-party resources.
